This tandem skydive takes place in Rosharon, south of Houston, at the Spaceland Airpark drop zone. This skydiving option includes a jump at 14,000 ft with a tandem instructor who handles the entire technical part of the jump, so no previous experience is required. This jump makes it possible to experience a long freefall of nearly one minute before a calmer canopy descent above the wide open spaces of Texas.

How the tandem jump in Rosharon works

After arrival at the drop zone, the instructor gives a full briefing detailing the instructions and the equipment before boarding the airplane. The airplane climb to 14,000 ft lasts 15 to 20 minutes, during which you will fly over the area around Rosharon, south of Houston, Texas. The freefall then takes place at a speed close to 120 mph, followed by the opening of the parachute with a more peaceful return, enough to recover from the emotions and fly over Texas in the best possible way. The participant can, if desired, pull the opening handle himself, which adds a real option to the jump.

Practical conditions and organization on site

No previous experience is required for this jump reserved for people age 18 and over. Additional fees may apply for people over 220 lbs. A photo/video option is available on site, so you can leave with memories of this skydive in Houston.
