This tandem skydive in San Diego departs from Brown Field Airport, south of the city, with time slots offered on weekends from Friday to Sunday). After about 30 minutes of ground preparation and a complete briefing, the gear is checked and you board the airplane for a climb to 10,000 ft before exit.

Airplane climb: coastal views and the San Diego skyline

During the ascent, you will enjoy a unique view of the coast and the metro area; depending on visibility, the Pacific coastline and the San Diego skyline may stand out in the distance, the overflight stays focused on the south side of the city around Brown Field, a real airplane tour before the big jump. Your instructor gets you ready for exit as you approach altitude, then the door opens for the jump.

45-second freefall and canopy descent

The freefall lasts about 45 seconds at speeds up to 120 mph where the sensations will be strong, after the parachute opens, the descent becomes calmer and gives you time to take in the coastline and the areas around Brown Field from this unique viewpoint before the landing handled by the instructor. The activity can take 2 to 4 hours on site depending on operations, and it is recommended to allow extra time in case of weather.
