Indoor Skydiving in Lone Tree near Denver

Description
Indoor skydiving near Denver
This indoor skydiving experience takes place at iFLY Denver in Lone Tree, south of Denver, Colorado. The concept uses a vertical wind tunnel that generates airflow powerful enough to support the body and recreate the sensation of flying in a freefall position during a skydive, but without jumping from an airplane. Entry into the airflow chamber is from ground level, and the instructor stays with the participant during the flights. No previous experience is required to try indoor skydiving.
The center is located at 9230 Park Meadows Drive, in the Park Meadows area. This location makes it easy to combine the session with a day in Lone Tree or the Denver metropolitan area. The wind tunnel flight takes place entirely indoors, in an environment designed for learning bodyflight.
How does indoor skydiving work?
Before entering the wind tunnel, a training session covers the basic body position, safety instructions, and the signals used to communicate with the instructor. The participant is then provided with the necessary gear, including equipment rental, and individual assistance is included in the price of the flights.
Each indoor flight lasts 60 seconds. During this time, the vertical airflow supports the body while the instructor helps stabilize the position and make any necessary corrections. This setup allows participants to gradually discover the indoor skydiving experience and then enjoy the following flights with a better sense of how to move in the wind tunnel.
Two options: 2 flights or 4 flights
The first option includes 2 one-minute flights, for a total of 2 minutes of flight time. It includes training, use of the equipment, instructor assistance, and a souvenir certificate. The second option includes 4 flights, for a total of 4 minutes of flight time since each iFLY flight lasts 60 seconds. It is for one person and provides additional sessions in the wind tunnel to become more comfortable and extend the amount of practice time. Freefall during a real skydive lasts about 45 seconds, so one wind tunnel flight corresponds to more than one real skydive.
In both cases, the booking is for one participant, and flights take place individually in the airflow chamber with the instructor, even when several people are taking part in the same session on site.
