This 30-minute or one-hour scenic flight begins at Aransas County Airport in Rockport, Texas. On site, the FAA-certified pilot welcomes you on the ramp and conducts a briefing covering safety rules, the flow of the session, and the key points of the route. Once equipped with a cloth helmet with integrated earphones, you board the 1947 North American Navion, a classic aircraft valued for its stability and visibility, particularly well suited for coastal sightseeing flights.

Flight route over Corpus Christi

After takeoff, the aircraft heads toward Corpus Christi along a route designed to offer a unique view of the coastal area. The overflight includes Corpus Christi Bay, followed by a pass over the urban sector before reaching the aircraft carrier USS Lexington, moored in the bay and easily identifiable from altitude. Depending on the route and visibility, the flight also allows views of port areas and marinas, as well as sandbars and coastal access points that define the waterfront.

During the crossing, the aircraft follows open sectors toward the Gulf of Mexico and landmarks around the bay, highlighting the transition between city, water, and shoreline. The flight format is designed for photography: cabin visibility facilitates taking photos, and using a wrist strap is recommended to secure cameras or video devices.
