This hot air balloon flight near Las Vegas takes place in the Pahrump area, about one hour’s drive from the Las Vegas Strip. The activity begins early in the morning, a time chosen to benefit from the most stable wind conditions and to observe sunrise over the Nevada desert. Upon arrival at the launch site, the crew welcomes you and explains how the flight will unfold as well as the safety instructions before balloon preparation.

The hot air balloon is guided solely by wind direction and speed. After the envelope is inflated and passengers board the basket, the balloon gradually lifts off the ground and climbs to an altitude that can reach up to about 1,500 feet.
