The experience takes place in a small group, with a Transport Canada-certified pilot, a noise-reduction headset, and a window seat for each passenger for an outstanding view of the places flown over.

How the flight above Lake Ontario works

The experience begins with a briefing during which the pilot will explain how the flight will unfold and the safety instructions. After the briefing, the flight takes off from Burlington Airpark and then follows the shore of Lake Ontario with views of Oakville, Bronte Harbour, Downtown Oakville, Mississauga, and Port Credit, with Toronto and Hamilton in the background when visibility is good.

The pilot accompanies the flight with commentary on the scenery and local history. After about 20 minutes of flight, the pilot will begin the descent and approach for a landing at the departure airfield. After landing, photo time with the airplane and the pilot is planned to capture the moment.

Practical conditions

The meeting point is at the north parking lot of Burlington Airpark, accessible from Bell School Line. It is requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Children under 8 years old cannot take part. The flight is not indicated for people with pre-existing medical conditions. Photos and short videos are allowed during the activity.
